Major Arcana

The Major Arcana are 22 cards that are not divided into suits like the Minor Arcana, but follow ‘The Journey of the Fool’, an allegorical tale which we can apply to many aspects of our lives. Major Arcana are significant cards; when one shows up in a meaning, you know that it will relate to a very important aspect or event relating to your life.

These cards often represent significant life events or themes, and are often seen as representing the major influences in a person’s life. Each card in the major arcana has its own unique meaning, but some common themes among the cards include spiritual growth, personal development, and the search for meaning and fulfilment.
